Is it normal for the rear airbag suspension to completely sag after a while of the disco not being powered on?

this does happen, but only because the rear bags are leaking normaly little hole on the bag folds. Althou sometimes the joints can leak. easy to check. raise the back end up and spray the bags and pipe joints with soapy water and look for leaks ie bubbles like you would a puncture. Get it sorted thou as it will burn out the compressor

I thought it was ment to shut off once the engine was off, and restart once the engine was runing again. I could be wrong however

i wonder if the compressor is what's killing my battery after i shut it off

might be...cos the SLS is powered for 30 minutes after the ignition is off.... but as said, locate the leak and fix it ASAP or in short time the compressor will not kill the battery anymore...cos it'll be dead
