Hi All,

I am trying to reinstate my Air suspension which the previous owner removed.

Everything it in place except one connection from the pipe to the air bag is missing.

Anyone know what these are called? I seem to be only able to get a whole loom in the parts list.

Thanks, that is where I see only the whole loom (if you can call the air pipes that?)

I have all the pipes in place, just miss that connection on one side.

Not sure on the exact hose size.

But something like this may work for you.
Not sure what happened there............for some reason the link was deleted.....

Cheers

So something like this then .

If it is M8 thread. I would chech it with a thread guage on the other one, or even screw a bolt into the old bag if you have it.

Cheers

Yes somthing like that!

That is the issue, previous owner removed the airbags for coils. Everything is still there.
Height sensors are still working so I wonder what the issue is/was.

He also went through the length of removing the ACE warning LED out of the instrument cluster so I can't wait to see what he has done to "repair" this. LOL

know this is different but the principle is the same

when i used push fit fittings at work , i put the pipe next to the fitting to see how far the pipe would go into the fitting

would then use a marker putting a line , so that when i pushed the pipe in the fitting i knew it had to go up to the line

please don't think i'm telling u how to suck eggs

hope all goes well for u

good thinking as it can be hard to see and feel when you are under a car and working in impossible angles. Cheers for the tip!!

no probs , when i used pushfit for underfloor heating i had a few blow out, new pipes have lines already on there. but doubt that type of pipe will have any markings

seeing as u say it's a tight fit just wished to try and make life easier , know inside the fitting there's a small o ring and when there was one in a confined space would test fit the fitting before hand

not sure if u can put anything like washing up liquid on the pipe , as it would end up in the air system and don't know if it could cause harm
