Just bought a new rubber air intake pipe from paddocks and seems to foul the throttle linkage, i don't seem to have had this problem before, and its the standard pipe, its a 2 1/4 diesel and its the rod type linkage, seems like the pipe is to long as it stretches in a arc around the top of the engine, any body had this problem or knows of a different pipe that will go straight from the air intake to the filter

Yeah, pic would be good.
Could it perhaps be too long on one of the straight sections ( never seen one before) and needs trimming down?
Had this on intercooler hoses once .
 
Can't cut it down as the inside diameter gets smaller on the flexi bit, and sorry not got into the picture thing

I do it straight off my android phone because I don't have a PC or owt.

might try that Dippypudd, its got strengthaning wire running through it but yes i will certainy try it, i have just thought of making a bracket to hold it away fro the linkage
 
Flossie, i am at work at the moment, i usually get the missus to do it but when i am off in the day she is at work
