As discussed in a previous post I am in desperate need of some parts for my Discovery 3.9 V8i. one of the major priorities on my list is an Air Filter Housing Box (not sure if thats the right name for it but its the big plastic box with the clip on lid that contains the Air Filter).

Anyway having struggled to source one I have been offered one from a 300TDI. It looks almost the same except the front pipe looks a little different. Can anyone tell me whether this will be compatible with my V8i.

Yeah use it... You don't need the filter box, any housing that you could bodge in with an adaquate filter would suffice.

get yer self a K&N filter they are said to improve performance and are available for most cars.
