Optimus Prime Well-Known Member Nov 24, 2007 #2 my 53 plate Td4 has a passenger airbag, so I would guess the wiring is probably there. not sure if the ecu would need programming to accept it though

rriggs New Member Nov 25, 2007 #3 The ECU would definitely need coding and also although the wiring might be there that does not mean that all the relevant sensors (eg Passenger seat) are there too. Cheers Rog

andytd4auto New Member Nov 25, 2007 #4 i would have thought that the wiring was there already cus the seatbelt pre-tentioner is there. lots of car makers make one loom and then attatch whatever is needed for that model.. missus had a bmw mini one with a load of unused plugs.
