putting air suspension onto my rrc..

ecu in,wiring in,height sensors in etc...

have eas unlock software, have made lead (correctly)

all i get when using is "pp" in rx stream..i get this if plugged in to rrc eas ecu or not..

hp laptop running xp,prolific usb to serial adapter, running software in windows 2000 compatability mode..

what the fuc* am i doing wrong??about to give up altogether and keep springs....(but i really need air,i need to be able to drop suspension when at speed or hooning..(400hp,f+r lsd's etc..))

help please..

If it's a classic did you make up the correct lead? the P38 lead is not the same. The EAS software runs fine in XP, no need to complicate things by running 2000 emulation mode. The most likely problem is your USB to serial adaptor, have you got the right drivers? Again running in 2000 emulation mode may cause the USB to serial adaptor to malfuntion.

ok,will try in xp only..

also tried changing com port, idle settings etc..yes its correct drivers, prolific usb to serial adapter,as the one used in software videos..i made lead, yes its correct, even checked the transistor to see if good,it is...(have a degree in electronic engineering etc...but NOT computing!!!)

still no go..

Transistor:confused: I presume that you must be talking about a Classic in which case I know nothing.
I can however tell you that so called "correct drivers" for USB to serial often do not work which is why I do not offer a USB version of the EAS cable for the P38. You could try a card bus to serial adaptor which you can find on Ebay Hong Kong for about £6, they always work as far as I know.:)

Arghhh got in my classic this morning to be met with the suspension lights flashing at me. Suspension is on the bump stops. Once I find out what the problem is( errr where to start?) where can I get this software from?

Cheers Guys, Stu.

Did you get sorted. Mine was showing pp when i was trying to connect earlier. my obd plug on the RR was crudded up. needed some wd40. but now all i get is 28 and 80 codes. it won't initialize
