On both axles, of my LR 90 B reg, the breather pipes have detoriated... mmmmm. and just hang around the axle level breathing. i see 2 hook like rubber pipes comming out on the right hand side of the oil filter in the engine bay. i think the lines go down, of course, and then filter along the top of the transmission and transfer case and then.... they just disappear, and i ant find where the pick up again and how can get of new pipes?? cheers for the input to come...
actually thats even if they are breather pipes, no im pretty sure what they are.

Also how much should a cambelt change be for my 90, mechanics differ i know but a ball park figure might be nice, also a clutch thrust bearing how much might that be. actually the clutch assy, as might aswell do it all while its open. cheers guys and gals

Regarding the breathers I did mine about 18moths ago

Ran feeds from both axles the main G/Box, bell housing, timing case on the front i ran them all along the chassis to meet up under into the engine compartment & fixed against the front bulkhead as high as is practicle
just ensure you run your pipes to alow for "axle articulation" and kleep them clear of any hot bits

Ironically enough, i met someone at a meet who had a nice 110 and "dipped" it with only the OEM axle breathers & no drain plug on the bell housing - He didnt appear at the next meet and only later in the year retold the tale of the nex clutch and flushing the axles clean

I sourced my kit over E**y and a full list of bits cst me about 20 quid

with regard to the belt change cannot help
but as soon as i bought mine i got it changes - dont leave it to chance
