Hello,
I've recently purchased my first Landy, it's a 1989 130 Crew Cab HCPU and is a bit of a project although it really just needs smartening up.
The question I have is whether anyone either has or recognises the spare wheel mount which came with the vehicle (see attached picture)
The holes are already in the bonnet but the previous owner didn't use the mount so took it off but I would like to put it back to get the spare out of the back of the truck. The problem is that the parts shown are all that I have, the round plate piece and bolts are missing, any ideas where I could find what I need?
Many thanks.

Not much help if I don't know what I'm searching for! There seem to be several different types of mount; all with different configurations of fixing bolts!

mine came from paddocks, and also had a large peice that goes under the bit you have to spread the weight.
Have a look at their mount, might be worth just replacing it,

Failing that, the bolts is just bolts, and you should be able to make/have made a retaining ring.

Two types of bonnet carrier - Type A and Type B

From your photo thinks yours is a Type A

Pages 910 and 911 on the attached exploded diagrams link show all the bits you need

Parts can be bought - e.g. the main plate is MTC3594,but if you're lucky that and the strengthener lengths will still be on the bonnet

If the reinforcing parts are still on the body, you might just be missing some bolts and the retaining bar MRC5063

Great, thanks for the help; the exploded diagram was just what I needed, looking at that it seems the part I need is MUC2440, the reinforcing plates etc are still attached to the bonnet which is why I wanted to keep it all on and just find the missing part! Only going to cost around a tenner too by the look of it!;

Happy to help

Just double check whether you have Type A or B

The part number you've found is for a Type B - i thought the piccy you posted was more like the Type A clamping plate

Ignore me - think either my eyesight or the angle of your photo :eek:

If the middle pin is slightly higher than the other two and has a horizontal hole through it at top, it's Type B
