I'm ready to throw my new 4.0 block in.

Looks like the easiest way is to leave the engine mounts off so there's less chance of snagging......good idea?...yes?...no?

Plus, any other advice welcome.

oh...and the gearbox (auto) is still on the car)

Yes, you can leave them off if you feel more comfortable.

fit engine to box then fit engine mounts,i didnt fit the exhaust manifolds untill engine was in the car,remove the rad if not done so already it just gives a little more room plus you wont damage it with a swinging engine
