I'm looking into buying a Landy but not sure which one. I don't need it to be huge but do need it to be sturdy. I'd also love to have a go at laning (main reason I'm thinking of changing my current 4x4). Any ideas? My budget is about £25k

Well they are all roughly the same size and all sturdy, did you mean £2.5K or £25k? What's your current 4x4?

Guten Abend mine Fuehrer!

Has to be a Defender in my very humble opinion.

Might be an idea to buy a nice one for road driving/towing etc and a manky old shed for mud plugging and rolling down hills in, if that's your bag.

He means 25K One for family use the other for fun.

Could get a really mint 1.8 Freelander for that! And have change to fix it

Thanks, looks like getting 2 is the best option. I've started looking and think a 90 to play with and FL to run around in.

I'd go for a 90 and a Disco. But only cos I've got a disco already and like a 90 too

With that sort of money, disco TDV for the road and family stuff.

Defender 90, with a 300 Tdi, for mud plugging and stuff.

If you've got more than you and the missus to drag around the extra room in the Disco will be advantageous and the TDV engine is ruddy good according to a couple of folk I know lucky enough to have Disco TDVs as company cars (I'm jealous of the motor, but not the work).
