Thought I would check front hubs on my 90 prior to new wheels and tyres being fitted. Offside seems O K ,but when I removed dust cap from nearside it was full of oil ,and oil is leaking from end of shaft.Any advice on how to rectify would be appreciated.

It's most likely going to be your hub oil seal, easey and inexpensive job to do. Have a look at busters repair section. "cv joint renewal".

is the vent on the top of the axle blocked. did on my dads disco and blew a hub seal on the back axle
