Firstly thanks for letting me join the landyzone.. Going to have a look at a 02 TD5 tomorrow, opinions pls, its an auto box any problems i should be looking for. any advise appreciated..thanks in advance.

:welcome: Good luck, no LR product is entirely trouble free so have a bit of spare cash put by to fix any little problems that come along.

I got a 02 td5 defender this time last year, was ex police and low mileage, full service history but that was no guarantee things had been done properly. I had the underside waxoyled and a few extras, gave it a full fluids and filter change and it's been no bother reli, would recommend a decent socket set!
