The PAS is not your power steering? That is a separate system.I'm not sure if the ace is leaking or not yet, the pas is a bit , I guess I top that up once a month , (it's still within its min/max)

The local motor factors around here have never heard of it either. The best place I've found for this fluid is Ebay. The other fluid is hard to come by here.

If you search on the bay for the stc part number you'll find loads of it. About 16 quid a litre, which is more than a fiver cheaper than LR.I buy my gearbox oil for my manual on ebay as well, can't get the MTF94 anywhere here.
The green cold climate fluid is recommended by LR for BOTH power steering and ACE.I only asked what fluid to top up the ace with as it's a bit low (it's pink) , then we got onto the pas which is also "pink" but that is leakingsorry
OK, but. . . . . . . . . . .
Do I need to flush out the pink in both systems and replaced with green, or can I just top up the pink with green![]()
If it's leaking bad put cheap ATF in it untill you fix it(not on a long run though) and unplug the ACE ECU, this will send it into locked bars default which means that the fluid is circulating between the valve block and the pump and the rams should be isolated albeit if the seals within the block are not 100% perfect(quite likely) some fluid escapes into the rams anyway
as long as the seals are for the pipes which are going to the actuators then yes
I am going to leave it working as long as possible until repair, then try to hire a warm tall garage to fix it over Christmas
