Parked car and all was fine then started her up a couple of hours later and all the ABS lights were on and a lousy pedal.
Message "Low brake fluid"
Reservoir looked as if fluid had been overflowing.
Topped up fluid and lights went out and a good pedal, but lights come on every time the pedal was pressed.
Pump now comes on every time pedal is pressed.
Good pedal
I am thinking diaphragm in accumulator has burst and the high pressure air has blown out the fluid.
Earlier in day brakes seemed to be not as good as usual and this was put down to brake fade as they were working hard going up and down steep hills on single track road behind a tourist.
Any thoughts much appreciated.

Might be right with the overflow. once something has happened and been fixed, especially if fluid has dropped low then you need a full RAVE bleed before doing anything else. Depending how low it went it can take up to 7 litres to get all the little b*st*rd bubbles out of the modulator. But need to fix the leak or whatever first. Basic bleed as per RAVE should sort pedal till next time the problem surfaces.

By basic I mean if a couple of pumps and no bubbles from the modulator then ccontinue. More thorough is 20 pumps. You can be there some time doing that.

Thanks Grrrrr
New accumulator on order from Island and then I will bleed system
