I've mentioned this before but never fit round to sorting it. So thought I would try explain in more detail see where to start.

My ABS / traction failure walking comes on intermittently, guaranteed it always comes on as I go above 70 on motorway, without fail this happens every time. Occasionally it comes on when crawling really slow while tapping the brake pedal lightly

Also. When driving and using the brakes most I the time it makes a sound from the pedal area as though the ABS is operating but its not, just normal braking. It also sounds like ABS is pumping sometimes when slowly manoeuvring on full lock

I'm assuming none of this is normal behaviour for a p38 but then again what is.......

Thanks

Shaun

You are maybe getting a duff signal from one of the front wheel sensors. Make sure they are pushed in to touch the reluctor ring. Slight play in wheel bearings can cause them to be pushed back. May just be a dirty connection in plug. Needs checking out.
