Hi all,

My ABS pump stooped pressurizing, the pump does not work.

Before it was fine, it had a new accumulator 1 year ago and a fluid change and it would work only every few brakes.

I´ve already checked the relay and although the contacts are a bit burned, i gave them a clean, they close with the ignition on.

I´ll try to ground the relay pin to see if the pump works...

any feedback on my options it´s very welcome.

Bypass the relay and see if the pump operates, could be a burnt fusebox. I suppose you have checked the fuses?
Otherwise check the pressure switch on the pump, they do fail.
A new pump will cost you more than the car is worth:eek: If the pump is fecked try our sponsors Emmotts of Colne for a secondhand one.

Thanks guys,

i´ll order a new pump just want to be sure...

I´ve not checked the fuses and i dont know how i can check the pressure switch, grounding the relay is the way to do it?

How can i check the relay? it closes and opens but it´s a bit burned...

it just happened to me and will be on it in 1 hour, so any pointers would be great.

i´ve checked our sponsors shop and they have the part, just seems odd to me that it went burst with no warning...

PS: i get no fault messages, just the brake and abs lights on all the time. I also can brake the car, just have to pump it twice and use leg force...

Thx!

fuses all ok.

jumping pin 30 to 87 does nothing , nor does grounding pin 85.

pump does not works no matter what :(

where do i feed 12v to the pump to test it?

thx
