Hi all, need some advice... im lookin at a p38 dse on an r reg with 138,000 on the clock... it has a problem where some times the ABS kicks in when the road is smooth... for no reason at all, even on smooth tarmac road with no bumps or **** etc... some 1 has said change pump but to me thats fine as it has plenty of air... any ideas pleaseeeeee, im pullin my hair out again:mad:, many thanks

Sensor displaced or on the blink, ECU on the blink. Needs to be plugged in and the codes read.
 
if the abs kicks in under general braking it normally suggests a cracked reluctor ring, best to get it plugged in though so you know which one to check with out looking at all of them only to find out its the last one you check.:doh:
