Can anyone shed any light on this. 94 LSE softdash
Car working fine, no abs problems that I was aware of. MOT man failed a stretch of brake pipe so took it in to be changed. Garage is a one man band but fairly RR friendly.
Now he can't get any fluid out of that rear corner. One side bleeds fine the other nothing.
Its not the pipes or caliper but it seems to be the hydraulic booster unit and possibly the solenoid control valves for this corner only.
Nothing seems to be having any effect at all.
I may have to replace the unit so am I right in saying its a P38 part?
Any idea of the part no as I'm struggling.
Thanks

Not that I know of, thought it was bespoke classic.....

Maybe Disco related mind, but you'll have to check part numbers.

theres a procedure to bleed them, if air has gotten anywhere in the system it has to be done from scratch, dont let it run low on fluid and let air in when bleeding or you will have to start all over again

they are pigs to do sometimes when i did mine it took 4 litres of brake fluid

I agree!! You only used 4 litres - I've had far worse.

To the OP, bleeding the abs on a Classic can be a real mission. If you depressurise the system, how long is the pump running before the pressure switch stops the pump? IRRC it should run for no more than 45 seconds. I think it will be a case of start from scratch and bleed the brakes - follow the workshop manual to the letter. Good luck!

Found the part - ANR 1118 and yes its a classic part.
As far as I know he's followed the instructions to the letter as well as dragging one of the older techs from the main dealer (which just happens to be opposite) and nothing doing.
3 calipers bleed fine the fourth just won't.
We'll get the other part and see.
Thanks all
