Hi guys I'm just after some advice or pointing in the right direction, I have a P38 manual 4L and it keeps coming up with these 2 faults which are obviously an MOT failure, iv just brought a new o/s front hub due to the bearing completely going, if anyone could help out it would be great before I go out buying a load of sensors.

Whats the state of your battery??

P38's hate weak batteries and the first tell tale is usually these two systems failing!

Also getting it on diagnostics would help :D

Thanks for that, yeah the battery is old so will get a new one but i thinking its because of the wheel bearing which had completely gone and thrown a sensor out but thanks for the advice

If you have fitted the new hub and the sensor was not pushed into contact with the reluctor ring that is the reason for your faults. Your second post answered the question in your first one.

If not the sensor check the brake light switch is adjusted correctly and the brake lights are not on all the time.
I had the same problem after a new front hub was fitted and checked the sensor and it was damaged but still showed voltage on diagnostics but nanacom showed fault on brake switch so I checked and found the switch was not extended fully when installed so reinstalled it and the fault cleared but havnt road tested it yet so casnnot say if that was the cause.

Strange one with the Nanacom all the sensors were showing voltage but when i turned left front wheel voltage altered on right rear so disconnected sensor and voltage went to 0 on right rear as if the incorrect wiring in the loom but you cant connect them any other way so has the wiring been stuffed about on the becm or abs box or Nanacom?

Nanocom has had some glitches maybe this is another one. Hevac temp control switches were transposed. You pressed left, right side right side changed and visa versa. Don't know if they corrected it in update 12 will have to have a look.
