Hi all.

Possibly a bit of a noob question (flame shield deployed) but some older vehicles I've noticed (mainly series models) had a two-tone paint job. Some of them have a white roof and rear side panels, some just the roof, others are the same colour all over. Was there ever much of a 'system' here as to which models/years got what?

Trying to figure out whether my 90 would look good in red/white... thoughts?

Cheers

Pete

You can have any paint scheam you want,as long as the colours dont clash.Iv'e seen some range rovers done in two tone, they looked great. But like i say,the colours have to mach.Red/black black/gold green/grey.

white roofs are supposed to keep the vehicle cooler in the sun

an alternative theory is that it was land rover cutting costs :)
