Legally speaking, they are not allowed to debit your account until they ship the product. So they've debited your account and not dispatched. If it's a credit card inform the credit card co. If it's a debit card, it depends on account type - Barclays Additions or Platinum you have same protection, and the Natwest Premier account as well.


It was a credit card so stand a better chance. Have spoke with my credit card company so they can start the ball rolling an have also spoke with consumer direct who were very interested and are forwarding the case on to trading standards. Seems a common thing with bronco p*ss*n people around.
 
This is why you should never buy from a website without a valid contact address.. It can be a pain in the ass getting your stuff.

On the subject of tyres and dodgy companies. I heard somewhere that Colway have ceased trading (again?) any news on them starting up again only I think my C-trax on the front of the Hippo are about finished, although they did get through the MOT.

All their manufacturing plant set sail for Poland a few weeks ago now. SO they may reappear at some point but they probably won't be called Colway.
