Are series 3 Land Rovers front or rear wheel drive when not in 4wd?

Don't laugh I really don't know!

Eh? It's RWD with or without FWH. All they do is stop the half shafts turning the diff and prop shaft, which reduces a bit of drag. Unless the yellow knob is pressed in High range (or the box is in low), the front axle is not driven.

It's front wheel drive in 4wd if you've just broken a rear halfshaft. :) How many of us have had to do that?

In that case the T/box on me lightweight was kaput which wouldn't surprise me - everything else was

:D I love how threads develop on here ;)

FWH...I have no bloody idea lol
If it has Freewheel Hubs the bit of the hub that pokes through the wheel centre will be a lot bigger on the front than the rear, if you int got them they'll be the same size ;)
