My name's Sam and I live in Lochcarron in the Highlands. Just went to join the forum and realised I already had a couple of years ago but never used. Had a Freelander 1 for the last 5 years but been obsessed with Defenders since my early teens. The day finally came a couple weeks ago that I can say I own one - 1999 TD5 90 Hardtop:
Although I've done a lot of reading over the years its a different level now I actually own one. Up until now I haven't been very mechanically minded so be prepared for lot's of questions from me until I know this thing inside out. I'll be starting with tools, what you would be planning first if this was yours etc.
