A little hot water and a lot of washing up liquid- then once it was looking clean, I used a water vacuum cleaner ( Vax) to extract the moisture stood it by a Radiator ( Domestic not Landy) to dry for an hour then fitted it- it was an unrecognisable colour but turned out well
