Evening All,

My 90 TD5 will not start if it is left facing UP hill. The fuel pump cavitates, do the ignition on off sequence and it will eventually start. There are no fuel leaks that I can see. Any ideas?

Try changing your fuel filter... blocked fuel filters can cause pumps to make a noise... if you have alot of crap in your tank it might take a few filter changes...

If you're still having problems try the TD5 section under Engines... I got alot of help from the guys there
