I'm converting my SW to a ST. I need 2 pictures and/or measurements
Where does the rope hook go on the front part of the tub behind the doors?
Where does the back horseshoe shaped rope tie go on the back of the tub?

Hiya,

Have not got the correct dimensions, when I did mine I sorta guessed, LOL

But if you look at Exmoor trims website they have a few videos that show you fitting a tilt and you can grasp the idea of where they should go and do,

I put the tilt on and guessed from there, although they aren't very even.

Got to fit them to the new tub soon so will be a bit more careful this time

The ones at the front may be 90 degrees out also.



Instead of the horse shoe ones on the back, have you thought about fitting some small cleats from a sailing boat? It would make it much quicker to take the roof on and off.

Hi Again,

I did the same as boris for the side of the tub, fitted it over the cap and then put the cleats where I thought they should be.

FYI, I do not know if you are using the standard hood sticks that we get over here, just make sure you have the recess holes in the tub for the tubes if you are, I found when I had got the full hard top off that there were no holes for the tubes , so ended up having to fabricate something up. But mine is the only one I have ever seen like that, :jaw: ( TD5 rear Tub ).

having a soft top in AZ will be ideal, spent many a happy time in Eloy.

Hey Boris, is that an extended bikini top?
