Hi Everyone

I've been thinking about a re-chassis on a 90, ive been offered an early 200tdi which could do with a complete rebuild. I want to keep it origional but want to improve it aswell so i dont know where a draw the line.
Things im unsure about are;
Seats?
suspension?
disco axles transmission?
upgraded intercooler?
dashboard switches etc?
spot lights?

I want something that looks but looks origional.
what has everyone done?

I say keep it useful. Do whatever makes you happy, but don't stick buckets in or add zebra stripes, unless you want to be ripped :D

Mines a rebuild, it's great . All the nice new bits like seats, polly bushed, stereo, doors and hinges but still looks original. But it all works

Looks original but really just had lift, wheels and 200tdi conversion. If you want it useful merely kit it how you feel comfortable. You don't need all the toys for everyday use and a little play

Yeah i was thinking disco axles, engine upgrades and new suspension, dont really need a lift on it. Origional colour and seats and new stereo etc.
have to start saving

There are little things you can get. Tyres make a big difference. Good tyres will be worth more than lift etc for most uses.

Yeah i dont want a lift anyway, it wont be used in any extreme situations, just weekends away. Anyone fitted disco axles, mainly i wont disks on the rear but also there a higher ratio to so better cruising speed and mpg??
