My 90 has got blue / white smoke at higher revs, is this just pump timing out slightly? It's fine on ideal and lower revs not to sure what it's like when it's properly up to temp as it's not on the road yet.

It's also quite smokey on start up but clears after a few revs !

Any ideas ?

A bit smoky in start for a few seconds is normal for an NA.

I reckon that white smoke is overfuelling, what does it 'smell' like?

Like an old smokey landy
Yea does smell like diesel, when it's cold it struggles to start then puffs diesel smoke which clears like you said normal do think it slight advanced ?

White smoke is unburnt diesel.....the blue is no doubt a dribble of oil.

When my 300 was belching ewhite smoke it was the fuel pump timing being out....it is easy enough to check it first before going deeper.

Yea thinking the same, as it struggles to start plums smoke once it starts that clears then ideals smoke free but smokes again at higher revs , so thinking its advanced ???? dumping to much fuel in so struggling to start then struggling to burn at higher revs
