My FL back to standard ride now as was not happy with it lifted. DD if I get an old Disco, you can weld it back together fer me, actually saw a tidy one today at £2k.
I cant do welding, or painting (cars) or mechanics much. I can do valeting and low skill fettling, oh and hoovering!

What didn't you get on with when you had the 50mm kit on
Was 40mm
Well I tried to get away without crash (camber pins). I did have the front tracking re set as you have to to allow the car to steer- without its terrifying, so handling was now ok ish but still looked a bit bow legged front and rear, even after a good period of settling. Had I fitted the pins and correctly adjusted it may have been fine again. I had my 4x4 connected throughout, anyhow woke up one morning and decided to set it back to standard. Then had tracking put back, then decided to go mondo for summer. As said b4, Ive now fitted 235's and the old girl is seriously planted on the tarmac - I dont really go off road, the odd mild play day. I think its great that within the forum, we have everything from totally standard thru to serious off roaders - Lots o knowledge.

Makes sense and I'm sure you will be fine with it. I went beyond my comfort zone having never altered suspension on a car b4, still it was good to reset my limits and I sold the kit on fleabay. I would suggest that at 25mm lift this is minimum distortion on brake lines etc and maybe no need for pins, but hey dont take my advice on this!!!

No need for new brake lines but the camber will still need to be corrected ideally

Yeah its a shame that. Wont be till after xmas and will look to pay what it takes to get a good one - dilemma is that want diff locks rather than TC witchery but prefer everything else on the D2, and it must be more or less standard. Still must be a lucky chap if this is all my worries are

Hello guys, I am Deon from South Africa. I'm new on the forum, just subscribed. I have a 2001 TD4 Freelander. I got me some 245/70R16C Wranglers and added 30mm wheels spacers. Got some lift and the Freelander look much more butch than with the 215 tyres I had on before. Just a suggestion, but must have the spacer or else it will rub.
