Hi.
When I bought my 98 P38, I was given a fold down seat for the boot thus making it a 7 seater. It will seat two people, erm.. small people. The thing is I have not a clue how the damn thing fits. (The dealer was not much help) It may not even be for the P38 but it is close to fitting. The back rests split and it has a locking bolt on the top left that is operated by cable and a lever. It appears to sit on the floor but has a fold down bar underneath the front that tilts it back a bit so your knees aren't 'round your ears.
It does not seem to be a diy job and is matching grey leather but I was wondering if anybody knows if it is for the RR and how it fits?

Your talking about the dickie seat and yes the P38 has an official one in its catelogue.

The next question is whether or not you have a P38 version or a RRC one.

Hi Adam. Just got round after all this time to sortin this rear seat. Attached is a pic. Sorry it is blurred but i hope you can work it out.
There is no part no. on it. If it is for a RR Classic then I will sell it if it is worth it. Any ideas on value? If it aint worth much then I will make it fit. It is too wide for the back so I will cut and shut the backrest and fit the right locking bars to fit the P38 rear seat locks.
