when I reach 50 and up to 55 I get steering wheel shake, fine below this and above these speeds, wheels have been ballanced, new uj on the prop ,new front wheel bearings, what next folks.

Are they standard (RR) wheels?
If so, I'd get the balance checked again by a different place.
Then, any play in the steering box?
Damper good?

Unfortunately the answer is normally balance. The out of balance wheel finds it's natural resonance. You could try swapping your wheels front to rear and see what happens.

P38 wheels or L322 wheels?

If L322 - makes sure you have spigot (self centering) rings fitted on the hub otherwise it will lead to eventual hub failure. This will cause your mysterious vibration at 55-70 mph that balancing wont get rid of.

Drag link and track rod ends worn. Sorted it on mine. Running the rear tyres at 28psi unloaded also helps.

Apart from all the other causes already mentioned I had this problem and it ended up being the swivel ball joints at other speeds namely over 80 mph I had a tyre delaminating good luck
