If the heads have been off before , were the gaskets put on correctly. I've had water passages blocked in the past when a gaskets been put on upside down. Don't know if this can happen on a range rover, I've only just got mine
if the by-pass hose and expansion hose were connected to the wrong inlet pipe on the topside of the thermostat could this cause overheating? or does it not matter which way around they are connected ?
