Lost some water from the header tank, but engine running fine. No mayo in oil, no extra pressure in header tank (or smell of exhaust - phew). But my windows have started to steam up. I guess it must be the heater matrix itself - does this sound likely ? Anyone had the same happen to them ? Advice gratefully received - Radweld perhaps ?? Thanks.

That's the strange thing, they are not damp. There is some damp in the back but I think the seal around the back door is leaking. The windows only steam up when the engine (& I suppose heater) starts to get warm. I think I might try a 'cheat' & get some Radweld today.

hi,i had same problem - is the heater recirc button on?.mine was and as soon as i turned it off the problem dissapeared..

As above if you are re-circulating warm damp air you will get a condensation build up. Other thing to check is that you haven't left anything damp in the car i.e. a damp cloth.

Has to be something damp somewhere for it to steam up, even if its just your wet mats from ya feet, also if it was the heater matrix wouldnt there be no heat? Could be wrong there though!
