Hello again!

My 300tdi Discovery refuses to start! It turns over fine but wont fire. I also get no glow plug light! Occasionally when it does decide to start the glow plug light works correctly.

Im thinking its an alarm spider fault, but as I haven't seen any mention of the spider affecting the glow plug circuit im not sure.


Any ideas please!!!

Possible timer relay? It might not be starting cus of the cold weather. If your timer relay has given up then cold start issue?

Under the bonnet, drivers side. Its the big black one at the back of the fuse box

not immobiliser, that only affects the starter solenoid and fuel solenoid. most likely wiring to glow plug relay.

Is there any smoke out the exhaust whe it's cranking?
