Morning all
I have fitted new pads to above and noticed the pads are a little taller than the discs
Have fitted new front brake callipers now and the pads look thesame:doh:Will be changing rear discs and callipers at the week end
Does this sound normal

If you can slide in the retaining pins and fit the split pins then the pads are not too tall.

Yep the pins and ant irattle springs slid in no problem
I was just worried that as the pads wear and their tops are above the discs that the pads would meet and NO BRAKES

Another quickey Discool-I noticed with the new calliper thet there is a fair amount of side to side play on the pads.I assume thats because the pistons are right in and that will be sorted when the pedal is pressed when the fluid is done
I have drained the whole system and have never bled brakes before so I approach with trepidation
