Hi, I've had my 90 for a while - its got a galv chassis - however I'm looking further underneath it etc & it's looking a bit strange.
There seem to be a lot fluids underneath & quite a bit of surface rust on the front suspension/brakes.
The most worrying thing for me though is when looking underneath I saw there was just a hole into the gearbox (or is it the transfer box) - at the lowest place which looks like there should be a drain plug there?!
Those are the photos of it - should there be something in there?! and if there should - does that mean there will be no fluid in there?
I've got a few other problems like a lot of fluid underneath - it looks like its coming from the prop shaft (diff maybe) - & from the sump seal - heres the photos:
Finally, heres my final (on this occasion) worry - the front suspension looks quite rusty, and the ball joints look like the seals are perished - can these be replaced? Here's the photos:
Any help or advice on these issues would be great!
I've got a few more questions to be coming on the wiring side of things - but I'll have a separate thread for that I think!
Thanks,
Max
