Mornin' all,

I am going to swap my 3.5 efi V8 for a 300tdi, I know you guys won't like the idea but for a over landing vehicle that will be doing many many miles it makes sense for me.

My exhaust is on it's last legs, during the conversion I want to replace the whole thing with stainless, what should I be looking for? I can only find V8 rangy exhausts or do I need a 300tdi disco one?

Also 3.5 efi V8 and gearbox will be going on sale soon

Think the 300 Tdi maybe a better option the V8 one may leak a bit.

Cool so if I get a new stainless one for a 300tdi disco it should all fit?

Don't know if it will fit without mods, but it will certainly fit better than a V8 one.

Google stainless exhausts, there are several companies that will custom make a SS exhaust while you wait for not a lot more than an off the shelf one.

make it yourself??all parts available..

if you not worried about a turbo whistle then straight though will be ok, the turbo removes 90% of the noise..otherwise a small middle box will do,,,
