my other half has a 300 tdi that wont start, windows wont go up or down, nothing works, changed battery still no, didnt come with alarm fob tried to program one too it but it wouldnt have it, indicators flash, some ignition lights come on when key turned, could it be the alarm palying up? can you bypass the alarm? any help please, its m reg

Does the little red key light flash when you are trying to start it?

it flashes all the time but not fast just a constant flash

what can we do about that? can we bypass the alarm? or does it have to go to landrover garage? thanks for reply

Could be the MFU(multi functional unit) too(it's part of the fuse box).......so called "dry joints" .... I'm saying that because U said that the windows are not working too and as far as I know they've nothing to do with the immobiliser(but I'm not a Disco 1 deamon), just to simply bypass the immo for start the engine: http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f8/discovery-300tdi-immobiliser-bypass-easy-way-57839.html
