My disco has a prob with the rear brake lights both the lights work fine untill i brake. When the n/s one gose out and the o/s one gose really bright i had the lights out.Bought new bulbs (the double ember'd ones) and i know what should happen is they both should grow lighter when i brake.Checked the fuses and earth every thing is fine:doh:
Any help appreciated Lee

you have an earth fault clean all the contacts and look for frayed wires.

Yep!! I was going to say that. If you can't find a problem with the earth wire just run in a fresh earth wire.

Mine was the same ...... earth fault

Damn you guys are good ........... anyone would think wiring/earth faults are a common thing on Disco's

Anyone would think faults are a common fault on Disco's? If they were perfect, they'd be boring. My wife is perfect.....
