right chaps im in the middle of filtering out all wiring on my disco...so far so good,

what do the cables on the fuel distributer do theres 3, and also on top of the engine theres a plug there whats that connected to?

iv disconected them and can start the car but just wondered if there actually needed as iv removed the spider bypass, the green box, the EGR box from under dash.

The wires that go into the black bit on top of the fuel injection pump (fuel distributer as you called it) are for the EGR, so is the one on top of the engine.
So as you've removed the egr these can be removed as well.

While you're at it you should be able to remove the vacuum solenoid on the inner wing in front of the air filter box as this would have actuated the EGR (don't forget to block off the pipework though).

The solonoid was removed on day one and blocked off, cheers though
