hey people iv done a search but still not sure , basically i replaced 2 wheelbearings the other day and all was good then driving to work and all of a sudden it spins like it has slipped out of gear , checked it but was all in gear fine , and the only way it will drive is in difflock , now im not sure if i have a blown transfer box of if a half shaft isnt going in properly , when jacked up both front wheels lock up when difflock is on as is normal , on the back the drivers one locks but passenger rear spins freely , now im a little confused , what do we think people , ? diff ? shaft ? transfer box ,

any help much appriciated , iv just had an epic fail at essex offroad getting well stuck with 2wheel drive :crutch::doh:

drive member bolts or diff /halfshaft you will have to pull it out and look

Most probably the halfshaft has failed.
Other possibilities, your diffs broken up or the drive member splines have stripped.

Pull the drive shaft today!! if it has broken it could trash your perfectly good diff.

checked the half shafts the both look fine , im wondering if the wheel bearing isnt on far enough and there for the shaft isnt going into the diff far enough if that makes sence , gonna drain the oil out n whip the diff out check that its all good , really bloody annoying

I don't think that can happen Sorry to say it's not looking good for the diff :frown:
