I've worked my way through 2 300TDi discos and 2 P38a DTs and I've now got to what I've wanted for a long time. It's a '95 RR Classic, 3.9 on LPG. I intend to use her as a daily driver if she proves reliable enough (ambitious??) But I hate the scenario where something goes bang and then everyone says 'oh aye those things are famous for that'. I'm only 25 but this is my 5th LR so I'm not a complete novice, and I'm a panel beater/painter so rust isn't an issue. What else should I look out for. I'm planning to do a full service and flush the cooling system. What else would you lot suggest.
Also, while I've got you here:
The fuel guage for the plg, which consists of 4 green LEDs shows full all the time, I guess its some sort of pressure switch on the tank?
There is no diff lock on the hi/lo knob so I'm guessing its a viscous coupling, like the P38? Any maintenance required? Thanks
