I'm stripping my old V8 because I want to make a coffee table from the block. I took the engine out believing it to be dead only to find that the problem was broken catalytic converters. D'oh!
The upshot is that there are lots of little bits and pieces that I don't need - alternator, heads, inlet, afm etc that will just be going in the scrap bin, don't want much for them but if there's anything you need make me an offer.

How are you to build it?
I have the block sitting flat and then the conrods bolted to the cylinder face. I had to cut a notch in the piston skirts to have the top sitting flat for the glass to rest on.
 
Not sure really. Not that i am planning it but do i want to fit a 3.9 front end on my 3.5??
 
I might take some bits from ya - might be interested in AFM, is it a 3AM or a 5AM meter? Also, do you have the ECU? What sort of shape is the dizzy in? and is the radiator any good?
 
The Rad is still in the car I'm afraid and a ninja scrap man pilfered most of the bits :( How do I tell the difference with the AFM? I think the ECU is kicking around somewhere, I'll have a look.
