Any help I'd be greatful my v8 won't start just keeps turning over checked
dizzy cap all leAds in correct order, rotary arm timed up correctly
Timing chain timed up right
New battery placed on it
Fuel getting through

But still no starting just turns over n over n over. Took spark plug out to try the spark in it and there just not spark there at all

Any idea why this could be

not enough info..year..efi? what dizzy? does it have ignition amp? etc..

broken wire from starter to dizzy? one that supplies feed to coil while cranking.white and something, cant remember the colour stripe

thats defo starter wire, but think its not one to dizzy, might be purple or pink..well anyway whatever it is check it.

Does powerspark work on the early ignition system which uses a 6v coil and the coil supply has a ballast resistor?

IIRC the electronic ignition system wasn't introduced until 1984 and the 35D8 dizzy was replaced by the 35DM8 and then about 1987, the 35DLM8 was used.

Is it possible the problem is the powerspark?
