The rear section is ordered and I will hopefully be able to fit it early next week. Whilst having a look at my current exhaust I realised that there is a 6 inch long split in it so having the new exhaust on should help and avoid the CO smell.
I've read somewhere that you need the 300TDi sender and using the TD5 sender "causes some problems". If I use a TD5 sender and TD5 fuel gauge can anyone see what problem there could be? I believe that the TD5 sender has a pump in it too but I can't see that being a problem. I'm just thinking because I might get hold of a TD5 tank that still has the sender in it and 300TDi senders are nearly as expensive as the tank.
