Hey guys. Hoping to pick your brains. Prior to taking out my engine. The cable for turning off the engine worked great. Since putting it back in its almost non movable. If I disconnect it engine side it moves freely, when connected and I manually move the lever on the distributor it moves freely but not from.the cabin side, ideas anybody? Il take a picture of the dizzy end in the morning g for you all to see to make sure iv connected it properly

Ok so quick update. So the plastic piece of outer cable that clamps to the pump had broken hence the initial problem.

BUT I now know what caused that to happen. The stop lever was getting caught on the end of the accelerator cable meaning it wouldn't move. But now iv replaced the cable I can see that the lever sits on top of the u-shaped end of the accelerator just enough that the engine will run bit barely. If I give it a nudge back down the engine runs fine again. Iv experimented will loosening the pump clamp and moving it slightly with no joy. Ideas?
