Hi chaps just wondering what have i got to change to make my 24 volt 109 in to a 12 volt 109, i know starter alternator coil dizzy plugs leads all bulbs fuel tank sender units, do you actually have to swap the heater matrix over, if there is anything i have missed (im sure there is) could you tell me please, does the regulator need to be altered ??

thankyou i will go and check the workshop check what we have and yep will change it all over (bluddy alternator packed twice in 2 months up so got the hump with it and going 12 volts

24volts versions are supposed to be more reliable.

they are reliable until they go wrong then they are a nightmare as once eletricals start going wrong they just keep going wrong and they are very expensive and i have gone through 2 alternators in as many months and i dont have any more spares so bye bye 24 volt system got the hump with it

also what do all the pins do in the 24 volt alternator, is each one a separate wire or are there only a few wires ??
