Guys,

I'm looking at getting some rangerover 20's for my Disco 2. I'm gonna keep the standard ES 16's as I want to put some decent grabber off road tyres on them.

For the many miles that I do on road, would 275 / 45 R 20 be the right size choice?

current tyres are 255/65/R16

Why would anyone in their right mind put tyres like that on a vehicle such as that? I mean, WHY ..... ?

The whole suspension set-up of those cars was designed around the original profiles of tyres.

Tyres like that can't stand up to a pothole in a road, never mind worse.

Fair enough .... make sure you stay on smooth roads and don't hit any potholes.
