Hi all

My RR has for the last month struggled to release the handbrake. It can take multiple attempts and starting/shutting off the engine for it to work. This morning the error message "parking brake fault" appeared.

Anyone had this issue? I am thinking of taking the car/recovering the car to my local garage for a diagnostic.

The ehb is a service item but gets over looked and then plays up chances are its a bit seized up as it has not been serviced as they are a pain in the are.

Thanks. I had put it down to grit/dirt/snow on the brake pads haha!

Handbrake uses old fashioned brake shoes and drum, built into rear disc, it was to easy just to use discs for handbrake !

Agreed - a(nother) revenue earning solution to a problem that does not exist .
