Just fitted a boost gauge and thought I'd take a few pics as I found a nice route through to the engine bay that doesn't appear on any of the threads I found.

Just take off the wiper motor cover and put it through the washer hose hole:

That brings the hose out by the heater box:

A quick cut into the hose from the wastegate later it was connected (although I'll be tapping it into the inlet manifold next time it's off):

The gauge is easy enough to fit and job's a good un:

Took about 20 mins and the hose routing worked really well, remember to put something round the pipe where it goes through the bulk head to avoid rubbing through it though.

I guess I should have said 'took about 20 mins - after I found the hole' although that sounds more like a drunken Friday night than a workshop walk through...

Where did you get the gauge /switch consul from? can you buy them ? or did you make it? looks pretty good on a Defender.

That dash is a raptor dash, i have the same one fitted, ideal if you use it for off roading cb mount e.t.c.

It is a Raptor dash, well worth it. I got the replacement binnacle mount from them too which is also a good buy.

BTW the gauge was showing .5 bar at first, I've adjusted the wastegate as much as I can and I have .6 bar and a slight difference. Gonna shorten the actuator bar a bit to try to get it up to 1 bar.
